Garland graduated from West Texas State University with a BBA in 1967, and was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Garland received his J.D. from Baylor University in 1969. After working for a national accounting firm, he began practicing law in June 1970. He is Texas State Bar Board Certified in Commercial, Residential, and Farm & Ranch Real Estate Law, and has been called "the best dirt attorney in the area". Garland is a respected member and past-president of the Amarillo Bar Association, and continually receives an Excellent Peer Review Rating. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the College of the State Bar of Texas, the Christian Legal Society, and is on the Board of Directors of Texas Panhandle Builders Association. Garland's background includes farming and ranching, and he continues his involvement in family farming and ranching enterprises. He is a member of USA Gideons International and is active in his church.

Fred graduated from College of Holy Cross in Worcester MA with a BA in 1967. He joined the ranks of those who "get to Texas as soon as they can" when he enrolled in the University of Texas School of Law and received his J.D. in 1970. Fred was Assistant Attorney for the City of Amarillo from 1970 to 1973, when he joined Garland Sell in private practice. He is Texas State Bar Board Certified in Residential Real Estate Law, and is a member of the Amarillo Bar Association and State Bar of Texas, and continually receives an Excellent Peer Review Rating. Fred has experience in and continues his involvement in farming and ranching as a member of the American Angus Association and past president of the Panhandle Chapter. Fred is active in his church.

Kerry David McLain

Kerry graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA in 1986 and received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1990. He served a judicial clerkship with the U.S.Bankruptcy Court in Dallas from 1990 to 1992, and practiced law with and was a director of Hill Gillstrap in Arlington from 1992 to 2001. In 2001, Kerry and his family came home to Amarillo, and he became Corporate General Counsel for several family-owned businesses including AMATechTel, Attebury Grain, and Rockrose Development. Kerry returned to private practice in 2007. He is a member of the Amarillo Bar Association and State Bar of Texas, and continually receives an Excellent Peer Review Rating. Kerry currently serves as President of the Amarillo Flames Athletic Association and is President-Elect of Lone Star Ballet Board of Directors. He is also licensed as a mortgage broker under the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry as well as the Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending. Kerry is involved in his children’s sports activities and is active in his church.
